You Won’t Believe What This Cameroon Food Vendor Was Filmed Doing to Okok Soup

Viral video showing a Cameroonian food vendor identified as Victorine Bikoe urinating into a pot of okok soup meant for customers has triggered widespread anger and fear across the Mvog Ada area of Yaoundé. The disturbing footage, which circulated rapidly on social media, captured the woman relieving herself directly into the pot before mixing the soup and preparing it for sale.
Residents say the footage was leaked after her phone was stolen, exposing the shocking act to the public. The revelation drew hundreds of outraged youths and customers to her food stand where they destroyed cooking utensils, tables, pots and tents in a burst of fury.
During the confrontation, bystanders reported finding bottles filled with urine stored among food items inside the shop. The discovery deepened public disgust and raised concerns that the practice may have been ongoing for some time. Several former customers said they often experienced stomach discomfort after eating her meals but never imagined such contamination was possible.
Neighbors and community members expressed shock as the story continued to unfold. The vendor’s family reportedly went into hiding after tensions escalated around their residence. Her husband insisted he had no knowledge of her actions and denied any involvement in the food preparation process.
Authorities have yet to release an official statement regarding the incident. Meanwhile, residents of Yaoundé are demanding stronger oversight of street food vendors and improved enforcement of hygiene standards following the alarming revelations that have shaken public trust in local eateries.
